Chocolate and Wine Weekend
The Village of Salado hits a sweet spot with weekend getaway fans. For those who believe the four basic food groups consist of white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate and truffles...the ‘Expressions of Good Taste’ Chocolate & Wine Week-End is one event not to be missed. It is nine great events in one fun-filled weekend.

The festival kickoff begins on Friday evening with an “Evening of Chocolate & Wine” from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Salado Wine Seller. The “Evening of Chocolate and Wine” will feature the finest in artisan chocolates, and wine tastings from Texas vineyards. This is a ticketed event for $49.95 per person. Tickets must be purchased at www.saladochocolatefestival.com. Another offering on Friday will be at the Salado Creek Winery & Vineyard where they will be hosting musical acts on their deck overlooking Salado Creek and will be offering wine and chocolate pairings. There is a door charge which can be paid for at the winery.
